Other Interests

I also dabble in freelance work when I have the time because, as much as I like my full-time gig, my creative ambitions sometimes crave more than marketing paisley purses. I have a couple of start-up projects that, while filling some sort of online void, also manage to drop a few extra pennies into the kitty thanks to Google AdWords.

On the side, I enjoy collecting street signs and traffic signals (an intriguing and underappreciated aspect of branding and consistency); reading Rolling Stone to fuel new music for my iPod; combing Smokey and Jasper (the cats/my sons) so their loose hair doesn't end up all over the house and/or in my food; and leafing through CA, Print, GD USA and West Elm catalogs for new and creative design ideas.
